You like partying and politics - and are likely to be young and affluent.

You're less religious, traditional, and uptight than most Democrats.

Smoking pot, homosexuality, and gambling are all okay in your book.

You prefer that the government help people take care of themselves.

[mood | what is that goatee thing?]
[Current Tune: |Weezer--Beverly Hills]

Even so I think this one fits me pretty well!

Your Dominant Thinking Style:

Exploring

You thrive on the unknown and unpredictable. Novelty is your middle name.
You are a challenger. You tend to challenge common assumptions and beliefs.

An expert inventor and problem solver, you approach everything from new angles.
You show people how to question their models of the world.

Your Secondary Thinking Style:

Modifying

Super logical and rational, you consider every fact available to you.
You don't make rash decisions and are rarely moved by emotion.

You prefer what's known and proven - to the new and untested.
You tend to ground those around you and add stability.

You Are 50% Normal

(Somewhat Normal)

While some of your behavior is quite normal...

Other things you do are downright strange

You've got a little of your freak going on

But you mostly keep your weirdness to yourself

[Current Tune: |the melody of fingers hitting keys....]

Take note of the "money-stingy" part! LOL!

The True You

You want your girlfriend or boyfriend to do more for you.
With respect to money, you are a bit stingy.
You think good luck depends on maintaining good relationships with others.
The hidden side of your personality tends to be satisfied to care for things with a minimal amount of effort.
You are tend to think about others' feelings a lot, perhaps because you are so eager to be liked.
When it comes to finding a romantic partner, you base your search on information from your friends.

What You Really Think Of Your Friends

Kate is your soulmate.
You truly love Abby.
You consider Elise your true friend.
You know that Sarah is always thinking of you.
You'll remember Caitlin for the rest of your life.
You secretly think Dante is creative, charming, and a bit too dramatic at times.
You secretly think that Matt is colorful, impulsive, and a total risk taker.
You secretly think that Nick is loyal and trustworthy to you. And that Nick changes lovers faster than underwear.
You secretly think Adrienne is shy and nonconfrontational. And that Adrienne has a hidden internet romance.

[Current Tune: |"Dragostea din tei" by O-zone (Thanks, Adrienne!!)]

Teehee....

It is summer and I am a very happy little child! Well, for the moment as I have not really started working yet, but is all good. I'm high off of Romanian and Brazilian techno/pop/whatevr yahoo!

It's funny cuz whenever I have a minute of downtime I feel like I have something to do or should be doing something...how odd...well, not really after 10 months of nagging myself. I told Ma this earlier and she asked me later on if I had finished my hoemwork and I seriously had to consider this for a second before realizing she was teasing me. School has really really taken over my brain! Grah!

Yes yes soo lets see....

Watched Bridget Jones 2 tonight...it was cute but really dumb. This guy "Darcy" (Colin Firth) that she had been dating is a stuck-up lawyer who is an ass to her, so Bridget realizes this and "chucks" him a couple of times. Well, later she gets thrown in a Thai jail and Darcy comes to her rescue (and gets into a fight w/ Hugh Grant, of course hahaha) Anyway after this whoel deal she goes crawling back to him and decides to marry him....err ok....guy treats you like an ass --> keep f*ing him anyway! Then marry him! Yay! Good lesson there! Anyway the fight btw Hugh Grant and Darcy was hilarious at any rate!

It has been a very busy week for this little child....that is true. Dris's party was AwEsOmE last night!! It was too bad that we had to get kicked out during an awesome game of truth or dare...fun stuff that is...except when some kid you've only known for like, 3 hours licks your leg...but that is a different story! lol

Talked to my cousin today...she's been calling me since like, April, and I the horrible person have not returned her calls...eeek. Anyway it was really good to talk to her about our certain withdrawls and stuff....she understands like that, I really should call her more often lol. it's really sad that I have to tell myself not to bother to pack and such considering I won't actually be boarding a plane to Maine--this summer or probably most of the coming ones. WAAAH!!

Oh well. Life is boring--as this LJ will be for a while I suppose.

Anyway...

Here's a good quote btw curtesy of those white bunnies:

"School prepares you for the real world...which also sucks."

yay! [Apr. 14th, 2005|06:27 pm]
[mood | drained]
[Current Tune: |"the sound of my own chewing" by me]

Yay! I finally decided to buy a prom dress, 1 week before prom, go me....I went back to Seema for the millionth time to buy this nice blue dress I had picked out. However, they did not have it anymore so after 20 minutes of searching and pouting I found another dress...which doesn't have to be altered--major $40 plus!...but anyway you'll have to see it  for yourself on prom night-Apr 23rd...if you come! Let's just say it is very Moulin-Rougeish (how'd u guess!?) and should go nicely with the "Red Carpet Affair" theme. Anywho....otherwise this week has sucked. I have a cold now and breathing through the nose has become quite difficult....grr. At least I'm not losing my voice anymore....

School sucks, nothing new. Particularly my honors classes...those teachers are piling on more material that we do not need and insist on rushing through it....while I am supposed to be concentrating on the 3 other APs that are going to bite me in the butt in May if I don't get on it. The reality is setting in...3 weeks (maybe less) until AP Exams/Portfolio submission...AAH! And the stress is killing me...with it's little dart...like Cupid (since today we learned in our AP English class that--most importantly--everything that shoots darts is like cupid...go figure but...whoever wrote the AP Exam smokes too much crack--don't ask) hehe.

Love always,

Things I Learned in D.C. [Apr. 10th, 2005|09:43 pm]
[mood | ESSAYS SUCK!!!!]
[Current Tune: |The Sounds-"Living in America"]

Here are the top 26 things learned while wandering around Washington, DC this week:

1. Don't leave your fine valuables with Ellen "sticky fingers" Dykes

2. Blanket-stealing is not a conscious effort:

3. Don't tell Kate "tender toes" Roberts her dress looks like a table cloth

4. Don't try to slide sideways in flip-flops

5. Don't order a Caesar salad with balsamic vinaigrette

6. Don't eat a pork sandwich while wearing a PETA sticker

7. If you make a paper cigarette, make sure it's not hollow

8. If you run over a cellphone...twice...and repair it with duck tape...it still works!

9. Don't take pictures of a sleeping person with funny signs on their heads

10. Dont' forget deodorant on a 4-day trip

11. It is a 30-minute ordeal to wake up Sarah "Dramamine Queen" Illing up in the morning

12. Some people are very territorial about the bathroom

13. Green shirts don't go with orange and white skirts

14. Don't forget your jacket on a cold "a-double snakes" day

15. There are some "D-triple star" cool ways to cuss

16. If you take a picture of someone ont he toilet, make sure it's authentic-looking

17. Don't stay up all night and then try to function on 2 dramamines the next day

18. Don't scream if someone has savagely bashes your head while sitting three-to-a-seat on a bus...even if it swells for 2 hours

19. Don't latch the door and then take a shower

20. Washington, DC, was, in fact, contrary to popular belief, named for George Washington

21. The Vietnam Wall Memorial is not the WWII memorial.

22. Everything does relate to an episode of South Park

23. Don't drop your Canon Powershot A-75 before going on a 4-day trip because it causes camera schizophrenia

24. Then don't show your friends how much memory is left on that handy-dandy camera and accidently format your disk....

25. To see the fancy reading room in the Library of Congress you must be wearing a large, lime-green baseball cap

26. It is, indeed, a 5-minute walk and a 2 1/2 minute run from the Eternal Flame in Arlington Cemetery to the main entrance of Arlington.

That was quite an educational experience!

Crappies Need Happies, too! [Apr. 4th, 2005|11:16 pm]
[mood | *Y-A-W-N*]
[Current Tune: |"Bullet with Butterfly Wings" -Smashing Pumpkins]

Ever get that feeling that you're just really stupid? Yeah, I get that a lot. I think my head is absorbing too much Sheer Blonde shampoo and its dumb chemicals are destroying my brain cells one by one....hhmm. Too bad I can't go to Bi-Lo and pick up a new bottle of brains :-D. hehe.  I wish I could think a little more before speaking sometimes and actually pull off the "I'm really cool and I know what I'm talking about" persona, but I suppose it's just not me. I'm too out of it when it comes to gossip or world issues and what kind of information other people have to blackmail me with. It seems as though people will just walk all over me lately. I'm a horrible debater. Luckily for my lawyer-blooded sister isn't it? Good for the guy friend who I can't threaten an inch for some info because I know he's at least one up on me. Grr. Why do I feel like such a passive dork all the time?!

Anyway, things aren't all bad I just have to have a place to get my bitchin' out for the day....

Anywho...good things. I need to list good things I suppose to balance all the bad. Hmm good things today...I woke up and breathed fresh air from a bedroom that is all my own. I had clothes to select from and hair to comb and teeth to brush. I had a car to drive myself to school in which I could listen to Vanessa Carlton or Josh Groban or Green Day as loud as I pleased. I arrived at school. (period on that one). I was able to buy a new shirt and spend time with my generous madre. I am going toWashington, a trip that I am fortunate to go on. I came home to a nice house in a neighborhood that doesn't worry me at night. Anyway, it is night time now and I am very tired and I think I should be worry about sleeeping...sleeeeeping..sleeeping..good stuff that is I suppose....

Nighty night,
